We are recruiting tailors and expert tailors (maître tailleurs).

You will be part of a growing and dynamic team creating womens, mens and childrens’ wear. To be successful as a tailor, you should be detail-oriented and knowledgeable of clothing design and construction. Ultimately, an exceptional tailor should demonstrate excellent communication, time management, sewing, and problem-solving skills to ensure that brand specifications are consistently met.

Specifically, you will:

• Construct garments for based on brand design ideas, specifications, and preferences.
• Press, steam, and spot clean garments
• Follow quality control guidelines and garment inspection
• Meet or exceed required productivity levels

Qualifications (all)

• Knowledge of garment production including knowledge of garment fitting, fabrics, styling, manufacturing techniques and garment construction.
• Understanding of textile fibers, fabrics, and apparel properties.
• Outstanding sewing skills and ability to use an industrial sewing machine
• Detail-oriented.
• Ability to create and grade patterns is a plus
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Positive attitude to work and ability to work in a team

Qualifications (expert tailor/maître tailleur)
Additionally maître tailleurs will meet the following qualifications.

• Mastery of garment production including knowledge of garment fitting, fabrics, styling, manufacturing techniques and garment construction.
• A seasoned tailor with experience managing a team of professional tailors.
• Ability to create and grade patterns
• Understanding of textile fibers, fabrics, and apparel properties.
