BASSAGAL CONSULTING AFRICA is recruiting, on behalf of one of its clients, MULTINATIONAL IN THE TELECOMMUNICATIONS SECTOR.
Reporting to the E-Commerce Product Manager, your main missions will be:
Support on timely and robust planning and execution all through the product lifecycle, including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements and finally ensuring the successful deployment of the product in needed areas ;
Understand and map customer journeys in order to be able to pre-empt typical demands and cater to them in time ;
Maximize the sales and profit of the categories and achieving sales budgets while remaining competitive in the market place, including working with suppliers and brands to be sold on the platform working with merchandising teams on promotional planning and forecast sales trends and drive category P & L .
In order to fulfil your missions, you will :
Able to work in a team and drive cross functional team working across various divisions ;
Evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of Solution Architecture strategies and propose and offer suggestions for improvements ;
Accountable for meeting and prioritising project team targets .
Provide information to the Manager on work accomplishments, individual/team/cross functional team challenges ;
Lead and cross functional teams meetings and contribute on specialist/technical areas when required ;
Review performance metric dashboards prepared on various performance metrics and provide input to the manager ;
Participate and provide inputs in operational meeting as and when required ;
Implement adequate risk mitigation and controls, with directions from the functional lead ;
Manage and resolve escalations that have impact on critical path on service delivery ;
Implement strategy ;
Manage budget ;
Collaborate with Marketing to identify potential strategic partners to drive the rewards program ;
Manage positioning of a product category in order to maximize its visibility, in line with group guidelines and manage listing relevant categorie & products on the E-commerce platform ;
Execute strategy for growth within category ;
Manage product returns and inventory mix ;
Plan and develop the product range and finalize the pricing strategy for products ;
Work with merchandising teams on promotional planning and merchandising.
