Job Title: Brand Ambassador
Level: L5 (Category 10)
Reports To: Head of Sales Spirits

Excel in the provision of compelling shopper and customer propositions aligned with consumer propositions. Be at the centre of promotion of our spirits brand
To lead and craft future luxury drinking trends to drive word of mouth and drive rate of sales
To promote the Diageo Reserve Brands and talk to the industry – On-trade and Off Trade outlets, consumers, media, and internally – in the most trusted and relevant way that will make a difference.
Drive mental and physical availability, as well as value share of Diageo Reserve brands within top end On Trade outlets.
Set up tests, and drive trends and outstanding standards. Develop media worthy serves, assets, events and partnerships.
Build Brand equity through engagement, inspiration, tasting, and epitomizing the brands & luxury lifestyle.
Install and drive brand passion and belief both internally and externally.
Lead from the front when driving trends and strategic partnerships with trend-leading outlets and ensure maximum exposure through all PR channels.
Be a valued spokesperson, as well as a driver of interest & newsworthy angles & stories.
Have drinks Industry leadership: become a reference point for knowledge and insights in the food and drink industry.
Deliver training on brands, and on category / luxury trend.
Do continual reality check on future trends & the Industry perspective and be on top of competition insights.
Qualifications and Experience Required
At least a Bachelor degree in a business related field
Strong commercial acuity and strong selling skills acquired through a strong 3 to 4-year experience in sales, with specific experience in account management, field sales or trade marketing (Having operated at a manager level would be an added advantage).
Strong communication / presentation skills, both verbal and written, in French and English. Ease on a stage/in an interview to bring to life a brand.
Valid driving license and strong driving experience Strong influencing skills, able to set the pace and encourage clients.
Authentic in all interactions, able to build true partnerships with customers and internally with other functions. Strong ability to multi- task and operate with pace and agility Ability to find pertinent solutions in a multifaceted and fast-running environment with the zeal to experiment and learn.
Barriers to Success in Role
Unable to build and maintain high to low relationships: from General Manager or Outlet Owner to bartender or waiting staff.
Inability to influence to set a vision and encourage consumers and customers.
Inability to build beneficial/valuable relationships with customers.
Lack of results-oriented spirit in seeking out new opportunities.
Inability to collaborate and deliver through others, and influence cross-functionally.
