Job Description
SNV Netherlands Development Organisation seeks to fill the following position :

Job title: HR & Administrative Assistant Intern

Time requirement : Full-time

Duration : 6 months

Reporting to: Country HR Officer

Duty Station : Yaoundé

The HR & Administrative Assistant intern undertakes Human Resource Administration tasks, provides administrative support to the country programme, and generally assists with logistics activities. The HR & Administrative Assistant Intern is expected to perform the following responsibilities, but not limited to:

Human Resource Administration: Support the administrative and logistics functions of recruitment processes, and induction. On Health and Safety, handles the day-to-day administrative functions of liaised with the service provider on the health insurance scheme.

· General Administration: Providing day-to-day administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the office; Maintaining and continually updating SNV Cameroon’s filing system of all hard copies of correspondence and documentation dispatched and received, manages the registration and filing of all incoming and outgoing mail and other Secretarial duties such as writing of minutes, editing of letters and reports. In charge of the country programme secretariat.

· Logistics: Supports all necessary arrangements for official visitors and/or missions to SNV Cameroon, by arranging accommodation and providing administrative support for SNV workshops and conferences, in charge of visas applications. Booking flights and purchasing air tickets for staff and visitors to the programme. Handles other service provider contracts.

Maintaining strict confidentially and performing any other duties as may be assigned to him/her by the Country Management Team.

Qualifications
Candidate profile

· Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent

· Experience working on part-time basis or as an intern for an international organization or private institutions is an added advantage

Language requirements: Good command of English and French

Computer Skills: Proficiency /Knowledge of Microsoft Office and skill in the use of Excel.

Expected Start Date: As soon as possible
